Fansproject Info update!

Wow, month of Feb is really an exciting month for 3p TFs fan. Fansproject had release more info regard to thier most await Fansproject's first unofficial Stunticon figure call, CA-09 Car Crash.

Next update is about the repaint of the Crossfire 02 Colossus set. Although the set has been delayed to at least late February, good new is it will include some extra goodies, the first of which is a Quake, a Shockwave-like transforming weapon for Colossus to wield. Hee.. lucky i never order the first release of crossfire. Anyway looking upon this "Quake" and it design, i really think that guys over at FP are putting our heart and soul to create what the Fans really want. Good job! Can't wait to use it to compare with my WST Shockwave.

Spartacus: War of the Damned

Finally, season 3 is here, just watch it last sunday. The plot is moving faster as compare to season 2, maybe it because season 3 will be the last and final season. So for those that are not updated with the new, pls go and watch it before it over, haha..

The Grandmaster (一代宗師)

Just watch this movie last friday night with my wife (T) after work. T and i are great fan of Ip Man movie series. Since "The Grandmaster" is yet another movie regard to Ip Man, this is a must see movie for us. So i booked the tickets and catch it after our dinner. This movie is about 2hr plus, the opening scene already start fighting and we are like wow.. not bad for the start. But... as the movie plot move on, we are like hmm.... so for those who enjoy Ip Man (movie), pls dun expect the same fight scene in "The Grandmaster". Overall, it is still a good movie since it show a different version or side of grandmaster Ip Man. If you are a fan of previous Wong Kar Wai's movies. You will most likely adore it. And not to forget, i think Zhang Ziyi role as Gong Er is adding alot of spice in Ip Man story. So last but not least, i'll still give this movie 3 out of 5 star (haha.. fanzboy81 personal critic)

118 and counting on........

118 is my current total number of TFs i had in my collection. It been really hard to collect what i like and "wish" to focus on, especially with so many 3rd party TFs releasing this year. (Hee.. the darkside is calling me). Out of 118, almost one fourth are 3rd party TFs. Not sure it because of the trend or it just that Has-Tak is not delivering what the Fan want. Just take myself as an example, so far i'm only looking forward to encore 23# Fort, MP-13 soundwave which i about to recieve, MP-12T Tigertrack and that about it. Unless more release will be coming in soon. (Finger cross, MP-13S Soundblaster, E-hobby exclusive Grand Max or even Masterpiece Headmaster?) haha.. just my wishlist.

But looking at the amount of 3p (3rd party TF) there are alot more interesting TFs which i'm waiting or Pre-ordered. Begin a very very selective collector, i really hope that Has-Tak can release more G1 TF which is never/seldom re-issue (Headmaster, Masterfoce & Pretenders) haha.. another wishlist of mine again.

So let look forward to another great year into TFs Collection.

Mastermind Creation: Feral Rex

This is a great for 3rd party TF fan, MMC (Mastermind Creation) had revealed Feral Rex a.k.a Predaking. From the info gather, it seem that it is going to be a very massive and fierce looking TF. (Gestalt is 32cm tall from feet to head, excluding shoulders, backpack cannons etc...)
And the best part is, it will have 6 TFs instead of just 5. The 6th TF, a Sabre-toothed tiger, an established character and a nice counterpart to Rampage, so you can balance the combined mode out with two similar arms, and move Divebomb onto the rear of the figure.

Can't wait to add them into my 3rd party TF collection.

Taxi! Taxi!

For those who love our very own local movie (i'm a fanboy for our local movie since Liang Po Po), Taxi! Taxi! is a social comedy set in the metropolitan city-state of Singapore, told through the encounters of two characters who are in what is widely perceived as the most sociable profession on the island taxi drivers. Inspired by famed blogger Dr Cai Mingjie's real life accounts as a taxi driver in his bestseller "Diary Of A Taxi Driver: True Stories From Singapore's Most Educated Cabdriver", the movie follows the trials and tribulations of a retrenched microbiology scientist, Professor Chua, as he turns to taxi driving after several failed job attempts. Along the way, he befriends (although they didn't quite start off as friends from the get-go) a veteran taxi driver, Ah Tau. The two men, who appear to be polar opposites of each other in every aspect from educational levels, personalities, attitudes toward life and even the languages that they speak, eventually find themselves interdependent and influencing each other in ways that they probably had never imagined possible.
Singapore YouTube star Chua Sen aka Dr. Jia Jia is really cute and his acting skills is great. So for those who have not watch this movie, hurry up and go for a good laugh, haha...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2013

A very happy new year to everyone. Wishing everybody a great year ahead and more great movie, toys and games coming up. It really been awhile since i last blogged. Since last Oct till now, it my dear company close and annual stock taking plus my personal holidays to KOREA! haha.. So now i'm back and fully recharged, i'll find try more time to blog. I miss taking out my new Transformers, fleshly out of the box and taking photos. Ok, enough of talk.. more action will be done. haha...
